About Us

We always say Low Haber is one of Northumberland’s best kept secrets…

Situated by the banks of the West Allen River, near the pretty village of Whitfield in the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and overhung by ancient woodland, our caravan park is completely hidden from the outside world. Together with our sister park, Parmontley Hall Country Lodges which is close by, Low Haber is widely recognised to be one of the most beautiful caravan parks in Northern England.

Many of our caravanners have been with us for years: indeed our Park Warden, Bob Conway, has been at Low Haber for over 20 years, firstly as a caravanner and more recently as Warden!

People say that when they turn into the park, their cares and worries fall away: this really is a place to relax and unwind and get away from it all.

There is a simple playground and mini golf for the children as well as a clubhouse with a well stocked bar where Bob and his wife Margaret will look after you well. The clubhouse has been completely renovated and refurbished in 2010 and now provides extremely comfortable surroundings and a welcoming atmosphere, with occasional entertainment.

We are a happy, friendly and welcoming park and offer a real chance to get away from it all and enjoy the peace and quiet and natural beauty that surrounds us. Our season runs from March 1st to November 30th.

The park is owned by the Whitfield Estate, a large traditional family-owned country estate which owns all the land round about. We have  110 static pitches, all of which are fully serviced. We are a private park and regret we do not have facilities for tourers or for camping.
